Congratulations to Cory Dickerson, whose 1972 Monte Carlo was voted "Photo of the Month!"

"My Monte is a 1972 that was passed down to me by a good friend after the passing of his son who drove the car for last 20 years. It was restored in 1986 and won several trophies at World of Wheels shows. By 1990, it was a full-time racecar and has races at almost every track in the eastern US. It still sports the original TH400 and rear-end to the car, in race-prep form though. It also now sports a 385 Stroker with a healthy amount of nitrous built by Voodoo Automotive and Performance and is a hammer at most of the tracks around here. Not only is it a racecar, but it can still win car shows!"

Club Members are invited to write an article about their Monte for our "Member Spotlight" feature of our newsletter. "Member Spotlight" articles include your Monte being featured on the front cover as well as being the first story inside our newsletter. Some ideas that you can write about are its history, restoration, upgrades, trips/shows it has been to, awards won or just about anything else that makes your Monte special to you. Up to 8 photos may be submitted with each article. To submit your story, please email it in an editable Word document along with photos and send to: info@montecarlocarclub.com
