1984 Monte Carlo SS

1984 Monte Carlo SS, Med. Blue Metallic, Med. Blue interior with bucket seats and console, showing a remarkably low 4137 miles! This is one of the best-preserved, all-original Monte Carlos in the nation. 2nd owner, never dealer-prepped, seat and floor coverings still affixed. Stored in a climate-controlled facility since new. Runs perfectly: no engine lights, no leaks, all fluids recently changed, carburetor rebuilt, headliner professionally replaced, alternator replaced (original available). Dealer rust proofing and paint protection from new. Includes the original window sticker, broadcast sheet, and many original documents; NMCOA featured car; won best in class at previous NMCOA events. The horn button, center console lid, and glove box have signatures from Burt Reynolds, the Dukes of Hazzard cast, and Jay Leno. Black bumper strips are starting to bubble up (common issue). A/C system is not currently functioning. It was inspected by a club member, and it should be taken down to a vacuum, tested for leaks, and serviced by a reputable mechanic specializing in A/C systems from this era (a club member near my area can assist and is willing to work this out with the new owner). It comes with a new set of tires (the originals are in good shape, just not safe to drive on due to age). This will be a future high-dollar collectible and has potential to be a part of a museum collection or a perennial “Gold Class” contender at a future Monte National convention. I would like to keep this in the club if possible, and I'll do what I can to arrange transport to you as well. It has a full written appraisal by a reputable company and was recently inspected.

The car is in climate-controlled storage in Cortland, Ohio.

1970 Monte Carlo

Fellow Monte Carlo enthusiasts,

I'm offering a rare opportunity to acquire a Matching Numbers 1970 Monte Carlo mid-restoration — a well-documented, high-quality build that is ready for its next chapter.  It’s 100% an Arizona car.  Life circumstances (a cross-country move) are forcing me to pass this project along, and I'd love to see it go to someone who will see it through.

Drivetrain

∙ Matching 350 V8 / 350 Hydramatic — professionally rebuilt including heads

What Has Been Done

∙ Chassis: Full strip, media blasted, epoxy coated, and painted.

∙ Suspension: Complete front and rear rebuild

∙ Brakes: Complete front and rear rebuild with all-new brake lines

∙ Body: Full disassembly; all panels (doors, hood, trunk, fenders) media blasted and sprayed in epoxy primer — ready for body work and top coat

∙ Wheels: New tires (Cooper 235/70/R15) mounted on 15x7 rally rims.  Original rally GMC caps included.

Much of the hard work is done. This car is primed and ready for someone with the vision and time to take it across the finish line.

Documentation and receipts available for major work items.

Asking $7,500 — reasonable offers considered. Available for local inspection.

1973 Monte Carlo

1973 Monte Carlo. CLEAR TITLE. Runs and drives. Body is in very rough shape. She would have to be trailered as she has dead tags and no brakes. We were going to put a new body on her, but life had other plans for us. I would like to see her go to someone who would be thrilled to restore her. She is a great car; she just needs someone to love her.

1973 Monte Carlo

Intact 1973 Monte Carlo. It has running rebuilt SBC 350, 4bbl with a 350-turbo trans. It runs really good and it does drive (it's been a lot of years since it has been out of my yard) but the biggest problem is it has NO title. It came from Washington state so it has a rusted-out floor pan behind the driver's seat (I think you could use a patch panel for a Chevelle). I did try to find a title for it but when I looked on the internet it said the VIN # was too short??  All the glass is in good shape, and it still does have the full interior. I have kept anti-freeze in it since I bought it 17 years ago. Paint-wise it is still the factory light blue color; at some point somebody replaced the driver's door, but it was never painted the car color. I am a car guy and I do not want this car to go to somebody that would just scrap it as this car was Motor Trends car of the year in 1973! The only thing is it needs is a battery and it's missing the plastic parts behind the front bumper on both sides.
